Is this supposed to happen?

No, what happened? How did you make that happen? >_<

Well that showed up, and it didn't go away, so I tried panning the camera with right mouse button, and it moved around, leaving a trail of copies of the window. If I zoomed in with the mouse wheel the pop up would get bigger, and if I zoomed out it would get smaller.

It happens every time I click New Game.

Sorry for any trouble, I am probably not able to get this fixed for you quickly (still have no clue why that happened). But I uploaded a windows build for this game, if you are still interested, maybe give that a try.
I can also provide a apple silicon build if that is what you need.

I reproduced your bug on Safari, and fixed that on Safari. If you don't mind, could you verify if bug has been fixed?
