Description
Videogame OST inspired by the soundtrack of Radiant Historia the theme of an ancient world.
I used Ableton 12 Live Lite. Limited to 8 tracks.
I used various free vst like Sine Player, Splice instrument, Analog Dreams from Native Sounds, and Iota Mini.
The overall theme attempts to evoke a feeling of something ancient and sacred that must be saved with urgency.
The strings use a triplet rhythm that repeats constantly and the solo violins represent the main theme of the ancient world.

The violin was very nice in this, though the triplets became a tad repetitive after a bit.
I really like the vibes and the changes of rhythm in the middle of the song. It makes me want to go on an adventure in a JRPG game that I'm not finished yet lol. Overall pretty cool orchestral work!
I like how you used the sustained violins, floating on top, to contrast against the ostinato bubbling underneath, and I also like the galloping rhythm at 1:44. Was this piece inspired by minimalist composers? One of my favorite pieces in this style and in general is Philip Glass’s String Quartet no. 5, especially the 3rd movement—it’s worth checking out! Your music effectively conveys that sense of urgency and desperation, so good work with this piece!
Loved the violin as well, and the triplets did a great job of pulling everything forward with that urgency you spoke of. The changeup in pace about halfway through threw me off a bit on my first listen, but upon revisiting it, it really evoked what felt like the protagonist finding their footing and moving forward with newfound determination.
That's a very interesting interpretation I believe I could lean more on the idea of the hero setting its foot. Thank you so much for the feedback!

Nice job getting a good-sounding orchestral piece with only 8 tracks. That being said, I found some parts quite repetitive, it might be good to pare it down/add variation.
