Would be nice if I could force the round to start since I'm solo/the server leader.

Text goes off screen when typing long messages in the text box. And I think, text box conflicts with the game style since there's barely time to write a few words between rounds.

Minigames range from ez to too little time or difficulty jump. No one likes slide puzzles. The mouse only control is ok I guess, never played the DS warioware so idk how it compares in ease of understanding the controls for a given minigame.

Appreciate the feedback! Do you think it'd be better with chat available at all times, or would you just get rid of it entirely?

I mean, it's a hard design problem to solve. Assuming you don't want to force use of voice chat, text is the usual go to for multiplayer games. Some ideas I had were to slide open the chat right after a minigame so there's more time, maybe text from the chat scrolls onto the other people still in the minigame like NicoNico and it becomes a funny distraction. While that's happening(when you're done but others are not), you can see what the other players are doing in a big collage or some such. Besides that, you could leverage the mouse primary gameplay and instead of chat use freehand drawing to communicate and still do the previous things I mentioned.

Since the minigames are so short, one way to give more time for typing is to chain several minigames at once, so those who finish fastest have more downtime waiting for the slow guys.

Though, now that I think about it party game collections like Jackbox don't have chat I think, so it could work fine like that too. I'm sure one of these options will jump out as correct depending on what you envision the final experience to be.

Developer

Those are some good ideas. Thanks for taking the time to share them!

I played alone and I'm happy to announce I was first, however I was also last.

I was surprised at the amount of minigames, it kept the game fresh, although I only played one session of 10 minutes, a couple games repeated. I imagine for a later date there's going to be way more minigames.

Having to learn the controls of each minigame on the fly seemed part of the fun, specially with the timer ticking down

The plates minigame seemed bugged, it teleported me around

Spot the difference minigame could use bigger hitboxes

Overall, I like it however I wouldn't play again since I feel like after 10mins I completed the game and there's no fresh content, the minigames are simple enough to become repetitive fast, which is not necessarily a bad thing but besides perfectionism to ace them. One obvious thing to note is that I played a party game alone.

Thanks for the video! Even bigger thanks for including the cursor in the recording, it helps a lot. There are 18 minigames in the demo, I'd like to get at least 50 games in there total, ideally 100.  Thank you for the feedback! The plate stacking game was the most recent one added, it needs to get fixed for sure.

Warioware but multiplayer, interesting concept.

Here are some problems I had:
• It wasn't very clear about controls in the beginning, also consider adding keyboard/gamepad support
• "Plate Stacker" glitched, it was teleporting sometimes back to some previous positions I guess, which lead to missing some plates
• "Spot the Difference" needs much more time than that
• "Photo Puzzle" I personally absolutely hate that type of puzzles, it is something that have to stay in the video game history, imho

Great work, over all, keep it up! It felt fun with minigames like poking the eye and red light green light. Might be more entertaining with other players and voice chat.

Thank you for the feedback on the games! Yeah, I need to think about how keyboard support could easily be added.

Really nice warioware like. You have a good amount of minigames, but this is the type of game that needs loooads more so it warrants more than just a couple playthroughs, but I know that will come with time.

Down the line, touch up the game's UI, these types of games need to be really inviting, look colorful and fun. The minigames themselves take precedence but presentation is also a big deal imo.

All in all, really nice start. Multiplayer games are always a big undertaking

Developer

Appreciate you giving it a go and the kind words! Ideally I'd like to get to 100, but 50 at the minimum. Agreed about the color and fun though, need to take a second pass on all the assets.

Good variety of minigames, most of them are pretty intuitive but the parking one threw me way off, didn't even see the steering wheel until the last second. Good shit

Developer

Seems to be a consistent issue with the parking one. I'll see how I can make it more obvious. Thanks for playing!

Would probably fun if I had friends. The picture puzzle minigame is impossible I hate it. The plate stacker minigame seems bugged.

Developer

Yeah I think I've only witnessed one person actually solve the puzzle mini game. Plate stacker is indeed in need of a fix. Thanks for playing!

Awesome! Really fun online multiplayer. The controls aren’t great though - what if you added keyboard controls for the games with arrow buttons? Also, the buttons seem to stop registering if you move the mouse while clicking.

Developer

Thanks for playing! My biggest issue with adding keyboard controls is keeping the controls consistent if the games get a bit crazy. I'll have to look into whether I can add them relatively seamlessly! And that's weird, I'll try and reproduce that bug.
