Description
The OST was composed using FL Studio, with primato fit in a 2D RPG. The ost was composed with FL studio, using primarily free soundfonts from games like Undertale and Mario Kart. It was thought to fit in a 2D RPG. The track "Into a Forgotten World" is though to be like a RPG exploration soundtrack, and in a game it could be played in loop with vertical layering. The second, "Unforgettable Nights", was though to play when the night come down in our fictional RPG, inspired by some of the Stardew Valley OST, but with a little epic accent, and could be played in loop like the first.

Message from the artist
My very first attempt to compose OST. As a beginner, i think the result is ok, it misses a lot in the lack of knowledge in mix and master. There was to be a third track, focused in a cave exploring gameplay, but i got no time to finish her.

Theme

Songs of a Forgotten World

How does it fit the theme?
I,ve got inspired by the instruments used by the characters in the theme picture. So i've trird to compose a OST using acoustic like instruments, and assemble a organic sound, but a little epic to fit in an RPG.

Congrats on your first compositions!

As others said, very quiet, could be way louder but thats like a non issue in the grand scheme.

These are some nice first compositions. I would say some things to look towards improving are making sure things flow nicely with one another. There are some sections in the nights song which sound halfhazardly thrown together with different melody lines playing notes that don't mesh well together causing some odd dissonances.

Still, It's really nice for your first try! Keep working on it and you'll improve fast!

Like others said volume is really low but excluding that i love it, the vibe and instruments you choose were excellent

Into a forgotten world: I like the vibe! It’s got a good texture to it. Like someone else mentioned, volume is way too low and at max volume on my phone I’d still consider it quiet. Pro tip (I’m not a pro) before releasing your track try playing it on your phone speaker, in the car, etc to get a sense for how it will play for others outside your daw.

Also there’s something off with the timing in places that i can’t put my finger on, not sure.

Unforgettable nights: fun ambient textures going on here. Both tracks are very much a vibe. Still both suffer from volume/mixing and some timing issues. Maybe you’re just using a time signature my body isn’t able to sync with? Maybe you’re playing out of time? Idk hard to put my finger on since there isn’t a drum beat but sommmmething feels off there.

I liked the vibe, keep it up! Great first submission!

i like how cozy this sounds. definitely catching the Undertale vibe here, especially in "Unforgettable Nights" (maybe it's just the SGM music box cuz it's so iconic lmao)
