These are very sweet songs; this is what it must feel like to be a medieval villager watching the sunset instead of being a hero as we are used to in the genre. I like the incorporation of ambient sounds.
- For the first movement, I felt the pacing was a bit slow at the start—somewhat repetitive—but the flute melody has such a beautiful, positive energy.
- The second movement—it’s a gem, so sweet and nostalgic; that description I gave earlier about watching the sunset comes directly from this piece.
- In the third movement, okay we have something much more adventurous—the percussion, the strings, and the BRASS, so subtle yet with an amazing effect. It is still relaxed; I don't feel like I'm on my way to battle a dark lord just yet, but perhaps I have the courage to stand up to a feudal lord.
