How does the game fit the theme?
At the Start of the game your dispatch tells you to trust no one but in the end he betrays you and attempts to kill you
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
i took the basic platformer code from another project and used mimpys tutorial for the dialog system, The people in the gamemaker discord also helped me with a lot of bugs
How many people worked on the game?3

Overall Game looks fun to play ! Sticked to the theme point. Especially the music and art is brilliant.
It was very fun! Nice game
Overall nice game! I really liked the music, and the art felt pretty unsettling in an unique, good job!
The music hurt my ears a bit xD, it was just a lot of sounds, kinda randomly put together.
The gameplay itself was fun, but the dialogue system either didn't work for or i just didn't know which button to press to continue dialogues (i tried a lot of buttons xD). the art was really just placeholders as you stated yourself, but i'd be interested in seing what the planned art would look like or sth. Also the gravity felt a bit weird since my character was just moving down at a given pace (maybe that was intentional, idk, cuz dialogues didn't work xD)
but overall i had fun :)
The dialog is continued with e I put that in the controls button on the main menu but I have no clue how many people actually noticed that lol. For the gravity I just made it a set gravity. The artist ran out of time to do the art they had some of the player animations done but they ran out of time to finish the player animations. TYSM for playing!
Nice game ! I like it !
Thanks!
Nice game. I like that its not easy but its not super hard either.
This is my first jam as well. hope to see you guys around.
Amazing job, keep it up :)
Hey great job on this game! I really like the platforming gameplay and how the different abilities were introduced through dialogue! I did see a few bugs though, like there was one time when I accidentally skipped some dialogue that showed up right as I was completing the level.
Thank you so much, So the end dialog thing wasnt really a glitch i tried to make a system where you would stop moving but the way i made the dialog didn't really allow for me to do stuff relating to what dialog is showing.
Hey, good job on your game! appreciate it's not an easy platformer and the dialogues make it fit better with the theme. One thing that I'd like to point out is that the color of the screen and background is too bright and saturated, which make it hard on the eyes and can affect the time people will play the game.
Congrats on your first game jam guys!
Yeah i have gotten that with the backround before. Im not sure why I have chosen that color lol. Thanks for playing though Im glad people have been enjoying it!
It's a really interesting and challenging platformer. The level design is nice, and the dissonant music definitely creates a strong feeling of tension and unease, i like it!
Finished it! Really challenging stages.
The dialogues are okay but I found a bug where if you press down too much when selecting dialogue it will go to pick no dialogue and then it will force black screen. Also having the dialogue 1 inch away from the exit while a guy is chasing and shooting you isn't quite a good idea.
I almost got frustrated playing this but overall I'm glad I cleared it :D
Also lastly the music kinda sounds like Lancer from Deltarune? I don't know if it's a reference but it really adds to the boiling rage when I had to restart the stage again and again XD
Pretty interesting platformer.
Music is very disonant, it is cool for moments of tension, and it sounds really good to create a feeling of uneasy, but it is too heavy for the entire gameplay.
For the movement of the character, I dont like that since you have the wall jump it gets stuck to the walls unless you jump; it would feel nicer if you could detach without the up jump movemet. And whe you fall it feels too slow, maybe a little acceletarion would feel nicer.
Colors are too vibrant; that magenta background really hit my eyes for so much time.
In general, the levels you preppare are pretty nice but it need a little polishing to make the experience more confortable in general.
Good job for being able to participate in the jam and being able to submit a finished project! Thats a pretty cool thing, the first jam is allways a little bit chaotic, hope you have fun with it!
Thanks! In playtesting i did feel the same about the wall jump but I ran out of time to polish it so I just sent what I had. The magenta background is generally what I use for my other projects especially when they are in playtesting. This was a very fun yet stressful experience for the group . Thank you so much for playing it though!
A good classic 2D platformer.
For the person that made the music, the melody was very dissonant and pretty hard on the ears. There was definitely something there that could have been really interesting but I feel like it didn't match the same vibes.
Thanks for the feedback! This is my first time composing for a game so I'm looking to improve!
Congratulations to all three of you ! The game is fun, I haven't be able to finish it yet, but it works great!
Really enjoyed your game! The core mechanic is clever and the presentation is charming. Great work for a jam entry. If you have some time, I'd love to hear what you think of my game too — it's a 2D puzzle-platformer built around wordplay. Good luck with the rest of the jam! 🎮
Thanks! I will go and give it a try!
