Great game concept and soundtrack! I wrote down my thoughts while listening to each track:
Small Gnomes - At first, I felt this track was missing something, then I realized this was an introduction to the theme, while Plotting Gnomes is the fleshed out “reprise” version, so no criticism there.
Town Plaza - I do love an accordion and polka rhythms. I appreciate that you took the time to record live instruments because I understand it introduces other challenges, especially within the time constraint. This is a great track already, though one thing I would try in order to develop this further is to have 4 or 8 bars where the arrangement shrinks down then builds back up.
Lute Girl - Lovely progression, reminiscent of Spanish flamenco.
Daybreak - Nice interplay between the melodic lines here.
Plotting Gnomes - My favorite track. Good use of dynamics, part writing, harmonizing lines, and form of the piece.
Goodnight - I like the way you used percussion here. A sweet farewell piece for this soundtrack.
I really enjoyed listening to your soundtrack which conveys a playful energy, motivic development, and good variety to tell a complete story. Nice work!
