How does the game fit the theme?
Even though they first seem to be normal plants, one or more of them is somewhat different...

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Nothing. I made all assets (both graphics and sound effects/music) myself for this game specifically.

fantastic game, the art was great and after i got the hang of it, it was very fun. but the stop growth potion wasn't really useful for anything, you could make it so that you get a new potion to use every new day, because after you run out of potions on the first few levels, there isn't anything else to do other than pass the days until you lose. also, a way to mark the plants you think are safe/corrupted would also be very nice.

overall, great game and the art was top notch

Great brain tickler. Making a game actually make you go "aha!" is pretty hard. Very cool

Thanks!!

Best puzzle game I have played of the jam so far. The randomness feels like you can get into spots where there is a 50/50, but I'm guessing it is necessary so you can't cheese the solution. I couldn't tell if there was any utility to the stop growth potion other than marking plants that you don't think are corrupted. I think the last puzzle was the easiest because once you have it narrowed down to 5 you can just acid all of them without thinking. I think the idea is very original and definitely worth fleshing out with more plant and potion types in the future.

I did find some use for the growth potion, where you can detect a plant using a spread potion, without growing the actual monster plant. But I'm not sure if it is actually required to use :)  Thanks for you comment!

Awesome art style, love the visuals! Really cool idea, super neat concept, and surprisingly addictive for such a simple game :)

Thank you so much!

Nice idea and good visuals, the game is fun to play.

I think it would be cooler if each level was actually a puzzle to solve without randomness, I got to level 6 or something and then lost a 50/50 (after winning two chances before that).

Cute style! I wish you're potion renewed each day so you could experiment. Nice work!

I like this type of puzzle! I really like the growth / spread growth potions, but the random growth and stop growth, I haven't really figured out how to use them in a useful way. Some levels felt a bit about luck. But otherwise, I had a good time playing! Good job!

Thanks for the extended feedback and compliments! :)
