Very nice! Really liked the look of this and felt it had a really nice and bright vibe to it. I thought the little manga section after the level was pretty fun too and think it could be a fun little way to do level transitions. I think the main thing I felt was missing was some sort of health indicator. I think the first time I got hit I was super confused on if I did or not, since it didn't seem like anything had changed. Plus, with 3 hits and 3 different characters, there's probably something fun you could do with that. I also had an issue with getting hit from behind, but that's probably on me for assuming all the enemies would be coming top down. The ranking system also seems a little generous, I died a couple times, but got an S rank somehow (I died right before the level ended, so maybe that had something to do with it?) Having the different weapons was pretty fun, and they had some really nice sound effects to go with them.
Also, fun fact, if you hit the X button on Blueberry's tutorial multiple times, you'll get a barrage of completion animations.
Good game.
The first time I tried it started auto forwarding the cut-scenes. Might have been on my end though as on refresh it worked fine. Some things though that I thought; I would have liked to have a hp counter or some other way of knowing when I am about to die. I feel like using the bomb still has a window where the enemy can crash into you. The theme of the jam was fulfilled but as you have said yourself, more could have been done with it.
Overall all a great entry.
Fantastic visuals and music, and the gameplay’s quite good as well. I thought it quite cool how each character is tied to a different ability / shot type, and the tutorial going over this was cute.
However, I did find that I didn’t feel much incentive to vary which shot type I used (between the laser and the basic shot), as the cooldown after the meter depletes is very generous. (At least for Strawberry’s basic shot.) I thought it would have been neat if you’d gain charge for one meter by defeating enemies with the other’s shot type, and vice-versa (and then Blackberry’s bomb could perhaps be charged by both, or could be on its own timer). This would encourage more varied use of Strawberry and Blueberry’s shot types.
That being said, good work overall! The style of this game is phenomenal, really.
This is such a lovely game! The music, visuals, sfx, everything - all fantastic! I felt like the sprites during gameplay were too large, so it was really difficult to not get hit by enemies during certain patterns.

This game is extremely polished, downright professional feeling. The visuals and music blend very well, and the whole thing is quite cohesive. I honestly think it fits the theme entirely well enough despite the disclaimer. I don't have much bad to say about it other that there is a bug on the tutorial screens where you can move the camera off the screen. That seems like a really simple fix all things considered.
Very nice execution! Love the loading screen and how your page matches with the look of the game
I struggled to see the enemies on my screen, but other than that it was pretty nice
How do I play? I keep getting stuck in a loop in the turorial
Maybe try a different browser?
Insane artwork/artstyle with the whole game dripping with style. Gameplay was clean and straightforward. Great game!
