This is such an wonderful cozy game, and the layout and font are so lovely and add to vibes <3
I had so much fun playing this solo that I kept going even after the four rounds ended! I played until I started repeating too many prompts, and it got silly for me with my epidemic of villagers getting lost and scared stargazing LOL
I really, really enjoyed the character, town, and home creation. That really got me into my witchy character and her magic-touched werewolfy husband, and it made their home almost feel like a character too. It had a history, it had special magical quirks. I also had fun coming up with special facts about the village. It gave the setting some very nice personality.
Growing and cooking felt so cozy, and gaining upgrades felt special. I really liked that it created a relationship with the villagers I helped. The affects of each ingredient let me get really creative and wholesome in how I helped people.
My first villager had a duel at dawn against a fencing master who had insulted his sister, and because my ingredients weren't exactly the kind to help someone win at fencing, I helped instead facilitate peace and had them both sit down and eat the soup (I convinced the fencing master that it was a very serious tradition for two duelists to share soup together before a duel at dawn--Not doing so would have angered the fey or spirits). My villager and the fencing master ended up laughing and admitting they were both wrong--the fencing master shouldn't have insulted the villager's sister, and the villager shouldn't have challenged him to a duel in public. In the end the fencing master gave the villager a swordsmanship lesson. And the crowd that had gathered for the duel was very confused LOL
I had other really good moments too, but I don't want to inundate you with all of them xD
Well done! And I can't wait to see how you expand it! Thanks for submitting and sharing!
