I tried to play it in the browser and the build didn't work for me. I get to the tutorial and right when I need to hit the parry it seems to just stop registering my button presses. Everything worked fine up to that point.

I just double-checked the build and everything seems to be working on my end. In that part of the tutorial, the game is actually designed to pause completely until you press the exact key or button indicated on the screen (just like in this image).
To help figure out what might have gone wrong, could you tell me which browser, joystick/controller, and operating system you're using?
Also, if you want to try again and skip the tutorial entirely, you can just press ESC before starting the battle and turn off the tutorial option in the menu.
Thank you for the info about the tutorial. I am unable to get the arrow keys to work and I am not sure why. I don't think anyone else is having this issue. The attack works but, when I go to try the parry it won't go. Even when I am in the character select screen I can't use the arrows to switch to the other locked characters. I can left click in the character select but, not in battle.
I was finally able to play once I got my controller out and plugged it in. I have a small short somewhere in the controller and was able to parry just fine. I was a little too eager to play and got caught mid attack a few times. I was going strong until my controller died on me, this is a very fun game you got.
Could you help me test a developer build so I can check the console logs when this bug happens?
