Does the drawing mechanic feel good?
I thought so! I really liked them. Recognition was pretty damn good when I drew spells, and the book when I hit TAB helped a lot. I LOVE that time slows down while you're casting, but not all the way.

What are problems of that mechanic?
I had a lot of issues aiming projectile spells. Fireball for example starts off fine. I upgraded it and then unlocked the ability to enhance it with another shape, all well and good. The issue after that was my mouse would have drifted a lot, and with little delay before the 3rd targeting window sometimes I could not draw the line to hit my enemy correctly.

While I love the system, maybe just have the ability to click where to attack with projectiles? Keep the line idea for flamethrower? Or maybe allow the player to start the 3rd targeting stroke? Its a bit hard to say because I like it, but It was clunky.

Other then that, fantastic. Had a lot of fun running this. This feels like a lost DS game, and I mean that in a good way.

Love the style of the and the concept but was a little tricky at times. I think it should be hold left click to draw then it completes when you let go. Can't wait to see more of this though.

I like the idea of the game, but was having a lot of trouble with the controls. Trying to draw different shapes while running and dodging the enemies was quite difficult for me.

The rune it listed and what it looked like I drew did not always match up. There were several times when I drew one shape, and it registered as a completely different one. Sometimes it made sense how it got the result it came up with, such as a circle resulted in a spiral, but other times I had no idea how it decided what it was, such as an L resulted in a an X with a line connecting the top. It wasn't just that my drawing was poor, though there were definitely times that that was the issue. There were times that the colored line following my mouse clearly looked like one shape, but the rune was something else.

Aiming with the fireball didn't make sense to me. Sometimes it seemed to follow the direction my wand was pointing, other times it seemed to go a completely random direction. The directions in the tutorial didn't really help make it clearer to me how I was suppose to aim it. I think the way I moved my mouse when the second colored line appeared was the key to aiming, but I couldn't be sure of that.

I think it would have been helpful if in the tutorial you mentioned picking up the item by pressing "E", and then using the num keys to use the item. In general, it wasn't very clear how I was suppose to use the item I picked up. I picked it up, then clicked the number 1, but nothing happened. I tried clicking the mouse button, then 1, and the first couple of times I tried it didn't seem to work. I did eventually use it, but I'm still not fully sure how I did it.

I think the drawing mechanic is a cool idea, but I was having so much trouble with it that took away from the gameplay instead of adding to it.

Thank you for that detailed review. This will be a crucial contribution to future updates.

If you are wondering how the aiming works: The last part of the drawing and calculates the tangent for the direction (or actully the spawn position for some spells). I should probably say this somewhere O.o

I knew I would have to invest more into onboarding, but I had to get feedback like this to properly do it.

Drawing mechanics seem okay. A little jittery on my system.

IDK, I am in an empty room with nothing in it, and nothing happens. Mashed a Fireball spell which always headed right.
