Some feedback: you describe yourself as a new jammer:
- Press Z to start the conversation, but pressing it again restarts it. Disable it until the conversation has finished, and if you leave the room (it will continue if you leave, and you can have two conversations going on at the same time. Also optional, but a "space" for the next bubble is common.
- Have WASD with E to interact at the same time as arrows and Z. Have just one key for interacting, which includes starting a conversation.
- Use menu buttons to select the liar rather than input text (no one likes typing, and there are only three options). Optionally, you can add a graphic of their face.
Good things are that it was fun, quirky, and complete. well done
