I like the setting the most.  The references to Seattle are well done and the concept of him having to run from his own fame is a great take.  I will mention that whole game has an AI look that is a bit off putting right from the start, but I can tell there was plenty of work and creativity put into this game so good job!

Thank you! Yeah I'm doing my best with the tools at my disposal and it's kind of obvious I'm new at this, I admit. I'm learning more every day and this is and will remain a work in progress for a while. I probably won't be able to call it "finished" by the end of Jimothy Jam visually, but the gameplay is about where I wanted it to be. Thanks for playing!

I had a lot of fun! It's impressive that you crafted a whole adventure game: the music, the neighborhood graphics, local level design (Ballard, Woodland Park, Downtown Crossing), the simple yet engaging "shiny" mechanic, and the scripted interactions with characters like the otter. Well done.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun writing all the quests and mechanics. My 8 year old son was my creative team. He's FULL of ideas!

Haha I think you should put him up for promotion in Q1!

Nice work getting a full adventure game together for the jam. Personal note, the AI art pulled me out of it a bit. Would love to see this with hand-made assets since the underlying idea is solid.

I had zero budget and no team, but i do have a couple artists willing to work with me on it now pro Bono. Thanks for the feedback. I'm trying my best to make the assets solid, getting rid of the floating npcs and what not. Looking for more artists to help me with the maps and sprite sheets but it is difficult to get help as cheap as ai these days. I am still developing this game and my ultimate goal if ever i could make money designing, would be to hire real artists to back fill all the ai art. I'm not proud of the art as it's just prompts, but I stand by my game mechanics. I think my games are fun. I hope others do too!
