How does the game fit the theme?
This game plays on the theme of "trust no one" to deliver a short interactive story where you try to find your own killer as a ghost. You can find clues all over your house and retrace the last day of your life, to find out more about the kind of person you were, and who to trust. My game mixes cute UI and soft, pastel color palettes to narrate a story that is both horrifying and somewhat expected-- but only if you stick to the theme and really Trust No One.
Not even yourself.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All code was made from scratch during this jam. The audio and sfx were downloaded from Pixabay, and some of the furnitures are from blendkit. 2 Fonts used are schoolbell and Sniglet, downloadable from google fonts. The idea, content, story, 2d assets, code and some of the 3d assets are mine.

A classic mystery game where you have to string together clues and get to the bottom of the truth? Yeah, I'm SOLD.
The controls were simple and surprisingly smooth; the visuals were well thought out, the map felt lived-in, and the story was well thought out.
Now, for the feedback side of things: I initially played in the browser but noticed my mouse sometimes got locked into character movement during choices, so I eventually switched to the download version. In the download version, the issue wouldn't pop up, but my cursor would never disappear and kinda just freeroamed, but it didn't take away from the experience. The sound bite you used for the wrong choices being selected was definitely...interesting, but it did give me a good laugh the first time I heard it.
I was able to guess who the killer was from the first two examinations, before reading the diary entries, but I love how much thought and creativity went into the storyline. Do I wish there was more uncertainty and tension buildup? Yes, but honestly...for one person having to build the storyline, the map, the code, and certain assets? You did really well, and I'm left curious to see what you would've been able to build had you had more than a week.
Great job, and I hope to see more games from you in the future :D
Can i learn the Ui design from this game i feel it's so smooth in some how
The music really sets a great atmosphere, and I especially love the mechanic of searching for the killer after you die! The option to customize mouse sensitivity is a really nice detail too. Though I couldn't quite figure out who the killer was — but after reading some comments, I think I know what to do now! Great game! I really love the sound design — the NPCs' breathing sounds when they get nervous, and the tense ticking of the stopwatch countdown really enhance the immersion!
