Congratulations! It was a very interesting experience to hear this kind of composition here. The use of instruments from different parts of the world really caught my attention, especially because I also used the duduk and the xiao in my composition. So, it was truly a very different experience.
The atmosphere created by the combination of these instruments was really striking throughout the listening experience. You managed to create a strong sense of intrigue and anticipation for something that has already happened, and then for something that is yet to come.
However, I believe some parts could be improved, particularly in terms of voice leading and storytelling through the melody. The form and modes are interesting and fit the atmosphere the piece is trying to create, but I think the story could be developed a little further through more concrete variations.
Even so, I really appreciate the creation, and congratulations on the piece!
