This was a very interesting composition to listen to because, even though it is simple, I found the melody very creative. This stands out compared to some of the other compositions I have reviewed here because, although some people have a lot of experience with music theory and instrumentation, their pieces can be quite complex while still having relatively weak melodies. Yours, despite being simple, has a rich melody.

So, I believe that if you continue developing your musical studies, you can reach a very good level with this melodic approach. The idea was very interesting, and I also liked the variety of instruments.

Of course, I could tell that you are still developing your own musical language. So, I would recommend studying more harmony and voicing, while continuing to apply what you are learning about instrumentation.

Nevertheless, this was a great first step. Congratulations!

Congratulations! It was a very interesting experience to hear this kind of composition here. The use of instruments from different parts of the world really caught my attention, especially because I also used the duduk and the xiao in my composition. So, it was truly a very different experience.

The atmosphere created by the combination of these instruments was really striking throughout the listening experience. You managed to create a strong sense of intrigue and anticipation for something that has already happened, and then for something that is yet to come.

However, I believe some parts could be improved, particularly in terms of voice leading and storytelling through the melody. The form and modes are interesting and fit the atmosphere the piece is trying to create, but I think the story could be developed a little further through more concrete variations.

Even so, I really appreciate the creation, and congratulations on the piece!

Congratulations! The way you managed to create the intended atmosphere was very interesting. It is always great to see compositions that go beyond traditional Western instrumentation.

The tribal flute built a compelling narrative alongside the drums, while the melody conveyed a sense of "floating" and intrigue.

However, I believe the harmony could be further developed to create a more convincing storytelling effect. As it stands, the sound might come across as somewhat monotonous to the listener.

Even so, it was great to hear your creation, especially considering the short time you had to work on it!

Amazing! It was one of my favorite soundtracks to listen to so far, and it brought me a very satisfying feeling of comfort and nostalgia. The instrumentation is perfect, and it's a very imaginable soundtrack for a game.

By far, the standout factor was the creativity. The fact that you built the Trossingen Lyre yourself is incredible! The sound is truly wonderful.

The first track really piqued my curiosity. It created an atmosphere that transported me to another world. I felt like I was returning to a place I’d never actually been! However, I found the title "Peace" a bit at odds with the sense of anticipation—and the subtly alarming undertone—that the track conveys.

For me, the highlight was the main track, "Radiance"! Listening to it made me genuinely happy. The instrumentation, the atmosphere, the interplay between the instruments, the leitmotif—it was all fantastic. I would certainly love to hear this as a 6th-century peasant. Truly, congratulations!

As a musician, I’d say the only areas for improvement would be storytelling development and making the tracks more dynamic; they do sound a bit monotonous at times. But as you mentioned, you were working with limited time. Regardless, thank you for your work!

As a listener, I had an interesting experience. It evoked a sense of nostalgia and really intrigued me about what was coming next.

As a musician, I really liked the way the music seems to tell a story. The instrumentation was excellent! However, I felt the string writing sounded a bit too raw. Also, the voicing sounded cluttered. If those aspects were refined—and combined with a good mix—the result would be even better!

I really liked how you managed to explore different themes within the same vibe, with contrasts and junctions at certain moments. It was one of the best harmonic counterpoints I've seen at the Jam so far. Honestly, I don't think I have anything to suggest for improvement. As a point for improvement, I would say that you could have diversified the tonality more between the different tracks, exploring different themes for each creative space.
