The art in this game was amazing. I loved the various many animated sprites in the game. I wish there was rain in the foreground during the night level for the first missing sheep but other then that i loved the parallax background. Great work for only a months worth of work.
Gameplay 3/5
The gameplay was a tad bit confusing, and slow. I am guarding my sheep but being punished for it. If you are interested in advice, id suggest removing health from the wolves and making it so rocks scare the wolves away (so many meters from where they are hit) and the Shepard's staff just knocks them out for a bit (You could use the health bar to indicate how much longer they would stay knocked out). This way the player is not punished for protecting the sheep and clearing the path. Switching to these type of mechanics would allow you to spawn more wolves in and thus make the gameplay feel faster because the player has more to do on screen. While i thought the collectables were cool they ultimately become undesirable when the method to obtaining them includes long drawn out gameplay.
The mechanics in this game are not difficult to master so you can include those "fast-paced" aspect i talked about early-on in the game.
All and all, awesome work Steve. You really should be proud of what you made, i know it may sound like I am harping on you but i am thrown back with how much you achieved in the past month. Great work 💪💪

I really enjoyed the assortment of music you have. It pairs well with the game and the sheep song you had for the credits had me rolling. The sound effects do what they need to do and the ambient noise of the wind and rain really added to the immersion of your game. 5/5

In the video I am making, i gave your game a 3/5 but take this here as the actual score. I didn't get a chance to read all of your submission before playing it and recording it. I never had the opprotunity to see how you incorporated Romans 6:3 (I guess I am just that good 😂😂). Ill take your word on it for the funny epitaphs.
Fun game and something i can honestly say, i could pass off to my child with no problems. I can really see your heart for the lord in the creations you make. Continue to do what you are doing brother, you are blessed more then you know.
