Thanks for playing. This game was made in 7 days for a game jam, and was not further developed nor had plans from that point. Balancing a game during 7 days of development is not easy!

Shane, as it's a great concept with tremendous potential. Unfortunate a gane like this won't win any awards due to the practically non-existsnt balance. Still, 7 days is a very short time to work on a game, so some balancing problems are expected, but not to this degree. It's sich a shame when a game only exists for a competition with no intention of further developing. Far too many of them exist, and sometimes they are removed because they simply take up space on itch's servers.
Dont worry, there is good news. After that jam ended, I started a new Digimon game- one much much better, and had a lot more planning and design. It does not follow the same gameplay as this one, but rather a massive improvement over it. As of right now, it has several maps and events made, but it is not quite ready for public; as you can see, showcasing a game prototype too early or something that was only developed in a short span is not a good idea because of first impression. But stay tuned, I can make devlogs for this new game in the posts for this one as a teaser.
