Yes, if not replace the movement scheme, at least make a toggle, please. Currently, after getting hit and respawn, I need not only to find out where I am standing, but also what the direction I am facing, and what to press to move the way I need. Catching another bullet while trying. Then catching one more while repeat. Not much fun, to be honest.

Sure! I also would like to bring a positive side too - the new graphic design really much better than before. Now it does feel like Military, and fits the game about Tanks perfectly fine.
