Good job! I like the look, and the controls while a little quirky, are consistent and predictable once you get them settled in your mind, which is the most important thing.
I would personally steer away from the 'gag' tricks (especially if they are as rare as in this game) as they just kind of frustrate the player, and stick to the game being fair but challenging.
Overall great effort.
I'd love if you tried this and rated it. I just need a few more for 20.
