I was going to leave the jam, I even clicked on the "leave jam" button because I had no progress until the third day. I had overwhelmed myself with game jams recently and this one was my second back to back jam I had entered. So I said forget about it, let's not rush thing and started to work on a personal project with no decision to make it as a jam entry.
I started learning Godot 2 month ago with the goal of making a third person shooter game so I've decided to finally start working on TPS controls, camera, shooting system etc. And after a day and half I realized I have a semi-functional TPS character and only need to make a functional level and something to match the theme and I just might have a chance to make it in time for the jam!
Long story short I rushed things up and made a short level with some interactions and I finally had my first TPS game! So for an unbaked, unpolished 4 day game, I am really proud of myself being able to just make it happen.
And since then I've been working on this project every day to make my dream survival horror game I've always wanted to make!
