Yea I'm not holding it against the game, could maybe explore a girl going from dom to sub since theres already bratty to slave and fits the similar style but could argue thats Alison as well (atleast I would say she's probably the closest to that archetype), but like I said its the nature of these games with larger cast, can only do so much with a character personalities that don't feel forced and its more of a me issue than anything else.

And looking back on this I think the personality thing will sort itself long term this as more characters get non-sexual focused time in the spot light, Lucy's baking, Victoria's music, Sarah's fashion/cosplay, Cat's family situation, etc will help the characters themselves feel more unique without being pigeon holed to shy girl, shy girl but school, shy girl but founding family, bratty girl, bratty girl but school, bratty girl but founding family. Likely why Sarah didn't feel as awkward to me as she was pretty established before anything really happened sexually (being tsundere and smol probably helped tho, I'm a sucker for smol). I suspect that if/when anything happens with Annabelle it'd have a bit amount of buildup so I don't see that one feeling like a reflavor and her clutz behavior is already well established. Granted she doesn't really fit the above complaint either as aside from Sarah it feels like no one has just wanted to be a friend (ok maybe not Sarah) before being put in the cafe or otherwise going down the sub route
