Nice concept! I think if you improve the gamaplay, it can be a great game! :D

I kinda broke your game, I did have fun though. I think the enemies need to show there attacks, it was very hard to avoid them. But I used the stairs so they didn't hit me. I streamed your game, it begins at 1:16:20. :D

Thank you so much for playing my game. I tried too hard by adding a lot of different things and got overwhelmed by scope creep. I will take the feedback and make something better for everyone next game jam! Happy Game Deving!

Scope creep is the real enemy. Good luck! :D

Not a bad idea, but the combat doesn't feel 'solid'. I had no idea when it was me or the enemies making a hit sound.

Thank you for the feedback! The deacline was approaching so could not tweak everything I wanted. Definitely learned a lot so will do better next game jam. Happy Game Deving!

I think the biggest issues are the attack range and not knowing when my attacks actually landed, so a little feedback on the hits would have been great! Otherwise a really fun little game, with fun variation of enemies and nice upgrades, well played!

Thank you for the comment! I tried so hard to get the attack to feel smooth and the animation to match the damage, but it would seem I was struggling a bit. I hope to complete it with everyone's feedback. Happy Game Deving!

I thought this was a bullet heaven roguelike for a second so I was just standing there like SWING MY MINION SWIIING! But no I have to swing myself hahah. I like the game! It's definitely got that roguelike aspect of levelling up and getting buffs. I wish the attack range was a little longer because I feel like I have to hug the enemies to do damage to them. Still, very cute concept and I will protect the party people with my life! :D

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Apologies to disappoint, but I might just change it to something like a bullet heaven, that sounds like fun. The deadline and scope creep got to me so I still needed to tweak a bit, I will work harder to improve for the next project. Happy Game Deving!

This is a clean theme hit: 10 waves, a celebration/party fantasy, and Level Up upgrades between rounds. The pitch on the page already sells Ten / Celebrate / Level Up without needing spoilers, and finishing the run with the Craftpix birthday message makes the theme feel intentional end-to-end.

Originality and presentation are strong for a solo Unity jam. The dancing party guests, torchlit arena, and “monsters crashed the feast” setup are memorable and streamable. Visual Design and Audio Design both support that fantasy well.

Gameplay Experience is more mixed because the Unity web controls/combat feel rough: mouse capture issues, awkward melee timing (often trading hits), interactables that don’t always respond, and some collision/pathing oddities. I still cleared all 10 waves, but mostly by learning safer lure/stairs angles rather than clean arena dueling. A dash/i-frame, clearer hitboxes, and a short controls overlay before wave 1 would raise the jam score a lot.

Cool submission with excellent theme packaging and a fun party premise. Great work, SirDwaynicus!

Thank you so much for the review, feedback and the video. I hope to improve as I keep building games and one day have a polished game from start to finish. Happy Game Deving!

Wow well done!

Thank you for the comment! Not the best, but it was definitely a great learning experience. Happy Game Deving!

Cool idea! With some more polish, I could see this idea growing into a full game. The melee range is, at least in my opinion, a bit too short. I can't really kite the enemies and hit them just outside of their attack range.

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback,. There was so much I still needed to tweak, but the scope creep and deadline was upon me. I hope to take all the feedback and improve and maybe create a full game.  Happy Game Development
