Hello,
Could you explain how to add the Integrated Map Maker into my own A-CSharp file without replacing the entire file? I use Vscode & Exspy for modding.
I tuned my own A-CSharp for over a year and would prefer to not start from scratch.
Thank you
Hello. I completely understand your situation after spending a year working on your own file, but unfortunately, this isn't something that can be easily explained or decoupled.
The Map Maker is not a standalone script that you can simply copy and paste. It is deeply interwoven and branched into multiple core systems and new mechanics across the codebase (TurnController, tile logic and rendering, camera controllers, data persistence, turn flow, etc.).
Trying to transplant those features into another already-modified DLL would cause countless conflicts and incompatibilities, requiring a near-total restructuring of the code. Because of that, I cannot provide a way or a guide to integrate it outside of this project. As a modder, you are free to inspect the code in your decompiler, but the Map Maker was designed exclusively to serve as the foundation of VT Omoi.
In fact, the reason VT Omoi integrates the features from VT+ and Improved Debug wasn't through a simple copy-paste job, but through an extremely complex and demanding reverse-engineering process (I have also been working on this for over a year). I had to dismantle both mods, rewrite conflicting methods from scratch that caused memory breaks, and rebuild the internal architecture of the game so they could properly coexist alongside the Map Maker. For that exact reason, untangling that entire system to explain how to adapt it to another DLL is virtually impossible to summarize or replicate step by step.
Thank you for your interest and for understanding.
