Yeah it's been a long time, and you are complete dipshit.

this whole thing actually got me questioning the development on this and it actually does turn out they're STILL working on this. Syunta (or heso-10, whatever he goes by) has said (and I quote) "The progress is managed by the organizer, not me, and there are some complications, so it is difficult to inform you at this time... I will let you know if there is any progress. As for myself, I am continuing to work on cg and stories." on 6/2/2025 after being asked about the lack up updates here.

Not only that, but after the artist for demons dreams (redgart) posted a picture of one of the characters from the game, someone asked a similar question saying (and I quote AGAIN) "i was wondering if the management translation project was still happening?" Satyroom replied under the post with "I'm trying to revive the project myself! ;__; just like demon's dream. I know it's been years but the main members of each team are still motivated normally, I'll inform when the production starts back." with these being posted on 6/16-17/26

So yeah, it seems the artists are still actively doing work for their respective games, its just they completely ghosted the itch io page.

Another thing I have to mention is Heso-10 is actually still posting new art/cgs for the management remake!!! You can see some teasers for most management remake related arts on his Fanbox (or twitter but these are some of the older arts/snippets + you might have to scroll down). He's also continuously making little side arts of the management characters, its so insanely cool seeing more Kurosaki after all this time

TLDR: Artist for management is still making cgs and working on stories for the game since 6/2/25 despite production issues, Satyroom is trying to revive the project, and Redgart (sometimes) posts things about Demons Dreams on his Patreon

Good to know, and thanks for answering respectfully.  I dropped 70 dollars for the image in game and its been years i believe

(+1)

Honestly, I feel the frustration, 70 whole dollars just for empty promises?? Insane. Along with the fact that the campaign managed to fund a whopping 42k dollars?? Now me personally, I'm not a game dev, nor do I know anything about the process of making games, but I really doubt it takes four entire years just to drop a game like Management and DD. Especially with the talented artists, talented team members, AND the actual funded budget that can support both games while they were supposedly in development.. Whole thing really has me wondering just what/where the hell all the money went to.

(+1)

Thank you for looking into it and it makes me feel a little better, but not a lot. I'm still concerned that the Syunta's message was from over a year ago and Satyroom's replies says that he is trying to REVIVE the project....meaning it's been dead and then he says he'll inform when production STARTS BACK....meaning they haven't been doing anything and since that was posted three months ago without an update it's hard for me to feel good about how things are going. I hope both games get completed, but again without any official updates saying how far along they are or a rough estimate on completion and the fact that they have other sources of revenue they are obligated to fulfill each month I just don't have high hopes.

With that said I'm glad somebody actually looked into things. I looked at some discord messages for Satyroom which is where he said he felt everything fell on his shoulders and he was behind on Patreon stuff, but that was almost two years ago. Maybe if people keep asking about it we'll get some sort of update here letting backers know what's happening, but I'm not going to hold my breath.  Sorry to be so negative, but I have had my money stolen before from crowd funders that never fulfilled the games, but I thought this would be different because it was a group of known creators. The lack of progress reports and communication is just all too familiar.

(+1)

No problem! And yes I agree, the communication with all of this is actually abysmal. I heavily believe something as simple as monthly/bi-monthly updates would at least help with dodging some questions like "where is the game" and "why haven't there been updates on the itch.io page??"Regarding about what you said about Saty's reply though, I also peeped that while trying to look for some info on development, honestly made it more clear that there has been little to no progress on development, which is honestly just annoying, especially when you've been waiting so long for a gold mine like Management to re-release..

I do think I've found some later "updates" when it comes to why development is so slow though, I'll have to actually read it before spewing sht though lol

(+2)

Second update, did more digging by actually going into Satyroom's replies on Twt since he's more active there.

And I'm sorry if this is a lot to read, but I genuinely don't think I want to cut most of these replies out since they all seem to hold vital information as to what the hell is going on with production, I'll try to bolden/Italicize some of the important things I think should be focused on while reading but don't count on it being accurate/actually important to the situation, ok read

So on 7/30/26 (Probably the most recent date someone has directly asked about the situation), someone named Achilles asked about Management + Demon's Dream under a post of Saty promoting his new game. Saty replied "Send me a DM with a screenshot of your pledge page, I will give back your money. I'm really sorry, I don't want to give names but people didn't do their job. I had to do most things alone and at some point life caught up to me... where I couldn't support the projects at a personal and financial level. I'm still in touch with the main members of both projects (mainly artists and writers), and I'm trying veryvery hard to push for an actual relaunch of production this year but i've become tired of justifying myself to others when I'm the one that got paid the less in all of this."

Achilles would reply a day later (7/31), saying "Genuinely sorry for what you have been going through, but it's not about the money for me. I have been following heso10's work for a long time and I was sooo glad that someone took on the role to translate/remake the Management game (same). The least you and your team could do is give an update on the itch.io page. Not straight up disappear. Name drop if you must, $42k is a lot of money raised just for the project to get abandoned without any sort of accountability or news (preach).

Saty would then crashout about the situation a bit, "It was 26k not 42k (????). I manually refunded a lot of people (but 26k is still a lot of money no?). I said multiple times what happened openly and the project are still not dropped implying that I went into a personal hell for multiple years even through I was not supposed to lead. I lost 2 years of my fucking life and my career future to something out of my control. And no I won't name drop, I'm not here so to waste people life for no reason. Give me your paypal I'm giving back your pledge. Demon's Dream is literally still in discussion and prod. And I DM Syunta about it (management i suppose) this month. What's the fuck am I supposed to do? WHat if we start again and then we can't keep going? It's just going to disappoint everybody and create more hate (tbf people already spent hundreds + its been 4 years I think most of the crowd is already disappointed). I don't want to do any sort of official announcement if im not 100% sure it will work."

After this, life went on, then Saty would go on to retweet hypnop*n with no hopes of an Itch.io update in sight.

Ok so a lot just happened, and i'm not sure if i'll be able to summarize this, and honestly this just brings up more questions. So what happened to the supposed 42k that was made? Who wasn't doing their part? Where the hell did the money go?  How could the project fail to be supported even after the funding event to support the said game was a success? When will production start again? Where the hell did the money go?

Other then all that this seems to be the only latest news when it comes to the production of both of these games, I'll try to see if there's more, but after what I just read, it could be a while before we actually get another official announcement

(+1)

its also wild to me that even after all of this was done and said, we STILL didnt get an update, not even an update explaining why production hasn't started

(+2)

Thanks for the research, and explanation.  God if i could get a refund back that would be awesome cause then id reinvest in another game.
