Okay so somehow the key blind is not even match (Except ghost)
So I test pressing other button to test and I found these:
Skeleton = W
Bat = A
Ghost = D
Even so, the game is still good. Well honestly the yellow, green, and red sign kind a confused me, but I found out if it can be work if one of the color is glowing.
Art and effects are really cool!!! I think the monster's are a little too fast for me though, but besides that awesome game!!!
I'm also the same. It only looks like I can damage the ghost regardless of my score. Cool concept. I would also put the instructions with how the button pressing works somewhere on the screen. Still a cool concept. If you're able to give us more guidance I'd love to give it another shot.
Thank you very much for your feedback! We understand that the gameplay is unclear and we'll take that into account going forward. One key information we forgot to explain is that you need to wait for the monster to come closer before pressing the relevant key!
Unfortunately I don't think the game was working for me and I'm not sure why, maybe I just don't understand the core of it, I was only able to hurt the ghost for some reason. Stepping aside from that I think that the art is delightful, the HUD/TV Screen was neat and I liked the shattering of the glass.
(If you tell me what I was doing wrong (because I bet you it was my fault and not the game's) I'll give the game another try lol)
It's totally an issue on our part how we didn't properly explain the gameplay! A key piece of information is that the player needs to wait for the monster to come closer before pressing the relevant key! Pressing the key before (when it's in the back) counts as a fail. We forgot to explain that...
Thank you for the feedback!
fun concept ! but hard to master, maybe the monster come with too much speed, i was the feeling that i'm to slow to see the monster, think about the input and watch if a have to not press, double press or hold the button... and i'm dead ^^
very nice concept, hope you can make something more smooth to mastering the gameplay easier
Yes, even though we wanted a challenging experience, we definitely underestimated how much we got used to the gameplay during development. As stated in other comments as well, we could have made a better job explaining the gameplay and smoothing the difficulty curve. Thank you for trying our game, and for the feedback !
