How have you integrated the theme "Freedom but at what cost" in your game?
The objective of the game is escaping from a digital prison. The base player will have significant difficulty killing enemies, and so they are incentivized to upgrade themselves. Upgrading comes at the cost of maximum health.
Where and which 3 colors have you used?
The following are the three colors used, named and associated with a hex value: Color 1 - Gray: #535353; Color 2 - Black: #000000; Color 3 - Green: #59ff00

Very clean! It's nice that you were able to get the enemies that get close and the ranged ones; makes for a hectic experience! Nice work!
I love this style!
Reminds me of that ULTRAKILL aesthetic. Very well done!
I love how you can sacrifice your own lifepool for military stats, that's a very cool mechanic!
That’s cool, it reminded me of the battle with the boss The Overseer from ARK: ASE. I liked. The music is beautiful. The only thing that’s not great is the sacrifice mechanic; in fact, I can take away half my health, and I’ll have a good chance of completing it, so I don’t see the point in making this sacrifice at every level.
Thanks for the feedback. Once we got the enemies set up we played around with their stats, and initially things were much harder (mostly via faster projectiles and increased damage). We decided that players being able to complete the game without dying was more important than making a punishing experience, especially because death resets you to the start. Adding a difficulty selection would probably have been the best way to approach things. Glad you liked the music!
Very straight forward sacrifice mechanic. Great use of the theme.
Thanks for playing!
Sacrifice... Ominous.. and yes.. I did sacrifice ALL my HP first go round xD
The box giveth, and the box taketh away...
