Unfortunately the game bugs out on the first stage. After entering the code to the gate the game does not allow the player to enter the building (or whatever that is supposed to be). Furthermore, on restarting from checkpoint the game will not even open the UI to allow the player to enter the code

Developer

Hello! This should be fixed in v1.06. Please try it out and let me know, thanks!

Hi,

I am also not able to enter the gate after I entered the code (or I don't know how). The UI to enter the code is working after loading from a checkoint. I used the latest version 1.06 (Linux build).

Btw. can you maybe pause the game while entering the code? It's a bit frustrating if you are confrontated with an interface with text to read, while you only have one or two seconds to do something.

Hey! I need you guys to help me out with this one. I'm developing Nightwalkers on Windows, and since this issue seems to be affecting only a small number of Linux players, it's really difficult for me to recreate it on my end.

If you're experiencing the gate/progression issue, please send me your Player.log after reproducing the bug. That should give me a much better chance of figuring out exactly what's going wrong.

On Linux, you should be able to find it here:

"~/.config/unity3d/Niche Games/Parasite in City Nightwalkers/Player.log"

The easiest way is to reproduce the bug, close the game, then navigate to that folder and upload the Player.log file here. Please send the whole file rather than copying individual errors, since the surrounding information may be important.

If I can identify the problem, I'll release a Linux-only v1.06.1 hotfix rather than making everyone redownload the game.

Thanks for helping me track this down. Linux is difficult for me to test directly, so these logs will be extremely useful.
