Hey! I need you guys to help me out with this one. I'm developing Nightwalkers on Windows, and since this issue seems to be affecting only a small number of Linux players, it's really difficult for me to recreate it on my end.
If you're experiencing the gate/progression issue, please send me your Player.log after reproducing the bug. That should give me a much better chance of figuring out exactly what's going wrong.
On Linux, you should be able to find it here:
"~/.config/unity3d/Niche Games/Parasite in City Nightwalkers/Player.log"
The easiest way is to reproduce the bug, close the game, then navigate to that folder and upload the Player.log file here. Please send the whole file rather than copying individual errors, since the surrounding information may be important.
If I can identify the problem, I'll release a Linux-only v1.06.1 hotfix rather than making everyone redownload the game.
Thanks for helping me track this down. Linux is difficult for me to test directly, so these logs will be extremely useful.
Hello! Interesting we've had several mac users install the game and this is the only report of it not working. Unfortunately I dont really have a way of testing since Im on windows, on my end I've built the mac version from the editor. If anyone else is on Mac please reply here with what version you are on, ty!
I'm sorry to hear you had a poor experience with the game! While I generally avoid giving out gameplay tips or strategies, I can definitely look into making the lightning flashes toggleable under an Accessibility section for v1.03. Thanks for the feedback!
