Hi Cyrk! First of all, thank you so much for creating this amazing game and for taking the time to check out my project. It truly means a lot to a creator who is just starting out.

I want to show you that there is nothing to worry about:

1. Regarding the download:
Rest assured that this is strictly an add-on patch. It only contains the modified Assembly-CSharp.dll file, the StreamingAssets folder, and the mod characters. It does NOT include the executable or the base game files. Players must necessarily download your official v0.12a.1 release for this to work, which is exactly why step 1 in my instructions is to download the game from your official page.

2. Regarding the bundled work of others and the donations:
The optional donations are strictly to support the thousands of hours I've dedicated to reverse-engineering the base code, building the Map Maker from scratch, and expanding the limits of the engine. I am not monetizing the community's characters. My intention with the ModPack was purely to provide a convenient and optimized meta pack so players could immediately test the new Multi-Team, skins and Map Maker features, and I made sure that all original credits for the artists and designers were strictly preserved in their respective Class files.

Thank you again for your time and your feedback.

Hey thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to make such a cool mod for it too!

1. That's good to hear, thanks for putting my mind at ease.

2. For sure, everyone deserves to get paid for their work! However, I also know that some people are not happy to have their work included without permission (That's why I'm here.) I think they would really appreciate it if you would at least reach out and ask them if they're cool with it.

Hello Omoi, this is is BluRed, the creator of Aon, UmAon, and the VT+ content you merged and included in this modpack. The work you did for the map tool is certainly impressive, but I am not comfortable with you including the work I made myself as part of your modpack. I would have liked for you to at least have tried to reach out to me, all of my download links for VT+ are hosted in discussion boards so you could have at least asked there. Especially given the fact that this is the first content you have posted anywhere, I would have liked to get a sense for who you are before you merged my work into your project.
I really don't want there to be two versions of Aon/UmAon out there, as I often update her speech and sometimes tweak her art. I don't want there to be a less complete version people think is the official version, that they just default to because that version is included in your modpack. Finally, since you choose to solicit donations, which is totally fine when it comes to your own work, I am not willing to have you use my work as part of your advertisement for said donations. Like the thousands of hours of work it took to make your content, it took many days worth of work for me to make Aon, especially given that I had no art experience prior, and it took just as many hours to code the content for VT+ and maintain/port the code to new versions of the game over the years. I don't think it is fair for you to use said work for your own financial gain, even in a donation model.

So for now I request that you remove Aon, UmAon, and the VT+ code that you added to the modpack. In the future I might be fine with you adding that content back in, but for now I'd like to see how your work stands on it own and also see who you are as a creator. I do look forward to seeing how your modpack expands and hope we can work together later.

Hi BluRed. Thank you for writing directly and for making your position clear.

I understood your message perfectly. In the next update I will remove both versions of Aon from the ModPack, and I will also remove VT+ from my project.

In order not to depend on the work of others in the future, I will develop my own system for v0.12a.1. This way VT Omoi will stand solely on my own work.

I appreciate the hours you dedicated to your characters and to maintaining your code over the years. You are, without a doubt, one of the most important creators in this community. Thank you for your attention.

Hello Omoi, Antare5 here. I'm the artist for Adder, Netcaster, Stanton and all of their costumes. I have a lot of the same concerns that BluRed already communicated in that I wish you had reached out to me to ask permission to bundle my characters into your modpack. I make my mods free to download and play with, but I would ask that people do not distribute the work themselves.  Generally I'd recommend posting links to compatible mods so that players can find their way to the artists that created any given character. That way artists can control how their work changes and is made available. It seems you've done a lot of cool work here and you should be allowed to showcase it, and if you are making your own characters soon (which is sounds like you are) then I ask that you showcase the mod's abilities with your own characters.

I would ask that, for now, you remove Adder (including her clothed and vampire variants), Netcaster (including her jacket variant) and Stanton from your modpack and the screenshots on the mod's page.

Greetings, Antare5. Understood, in the next Update, all your content will be removed.

Yeah you should have asked....

For my part, I do not mind having my characters in your mod as long as you give credit to me, which you more or less did in the outfit section. However, I'd like you to add at least my DeviantArt adress somewhere more visible like in the mod's page itself or a dedicated credit section inside the mod's file. I mean, I added one in my own character pack for a reason.

Hi K--Fox. Thank you so much for your message and for allowing your characters to stay in Vessel Tactics Omoi.

You will without a doubt have a great appearance in the next Update, with your name highly visible and your links in several places.

I wanted to write to you on X, but you have your messages closed, and I had already left you a comment on one of your posts that you probably did not see. Anyway, I am glad that now we could talk.

Thank you for being a legend and for supporting a creator who is just starting out.

Good.

I definetly did not see the comment, sorry for that.
