Boatiful is a fundamentally unserious RPG that we've done our best to cram full of whimsy. We hope to uplift you with the overall silly qualities of our game and characters. Choices matter, and there is a hidden ending if you do an exceptional job of uplifting and helping everyone you can :)

Boatiful is a story-driven game about escaping from a desert island, and many of its characters are ocean natives.

All art and writing is handmade from scratch without any pre-made assets or AI assistance. The game's music is by Kevin MacLeod and Serge Quadrado.

Shouldn't his name be Etarip, instead of Etarp or maybe Prate is intentional I believe.
But I enjoyed the simplicity and pixel art was good too
Unfortunately, Etarp's I was also stolen (which is why he's wearing two eyepatches). Not confirming or denying anything, but there MIGHT be a side quest related to this which MIGHT be connected to unlocking the secret ending ;)

I came back right after the stream to do it right, and oh my, that ending was really worth it. I think that was the hidden ending? The one where you end with 105 beauty. I laughed so hard I thought I was going to rupture something.

It's a very cute and well made game! I like the characters!
Peak story telling. The simple artstyle and unpredictable narrative of this game fits together to give off the meme energy it intend to create. This is phenomenal for a first game. I've had genuine fun on this one. This is my favorite jam entry so far. If you ever got stuck in the same place I did, you can put down items in the starting island.
