okay hi wow i now realise this game SUCKS, the glow thing was just slop dialogue i did, its meant to be a more like in lore thing. the menu highlights have been pointed out to me, i didnt think about how it looked for other screens because it was fine for me i had limited testers. you can delete ur save from the options menu, and to progress you have to talk to the npc after defeating the wisp, the interact button is e.
there are way more issues than i thought with this version i'm sorry it was all confusing
unsure if you have retried the game yet, but there is a new build now, fixed a couple issues i noticed, i made the dialogue say to come back and talk to the guy which lets you progress, the interact keybind was a little messed up, and i think the menus should be a lot easier to see where you are now.
