You actually finished something this strong in just four hours... I feel like you have very strong map design skills. However, after I found eight bunnies, I was exhausted. I ran around several times and still couldn't find the last bunnyAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Pretty neat little game! The level might not have been much to look at, but the movement was nice and the wizard's sprite was pretty cute (although I have to say at first I thought it was a person with a tiny head and arms and giant legs). I managed to find all 10 bunnies, and funnily this was also my 10th game reviewed. Well done!
Good job making this in 4 hours!
Fun, straightforward, with some thoughtful level designs. I especially liked the platforms where you need to figure out whether to use a standing jump (more height) or running jump (more distance), and where you can see the bunny that can only be accessible from below, and have to find the hidden jump up to it, it all felt fair and fun! The last bunny took me a little while to realise that you get a boost in momentum on your second jump if you dashed at the same time, I think this is a cool mechanic that deserves be explored further!
Thank you!
I ripped this player control from a failed attempt at a more in depth entry, in which I did hope to explore that mechanic a lot more. Unfortunately within the bounds of this game's mechanics there's not really anything I can do to force the player to use that mechanic - any gap that can be crossed with a normal jump into a midair dash jump can also be crossed with a dash jump into a normal jump, and this game doesn't have any hazards I could put in the way to force the player to use the normal jump first.
Pretty solid, considering it was put together in 4 hours.
Visuals were quite simple, but I thought they were neat. I know this was unintentional, but honestly? ...I think the green-colored castle goes kinda hard.
This is something you've done before with Lighthop, but I'll say here that I do like how sometimes you have to go across screen transitions for platforming. In this game specifically, I liked the one bunny that was behind a hidden room transition. This kind of thing makes you be a little more considerate of the world I feel like, which I think is cool.
I uh... don't know what else to say. Kudos for managing to pull this together so close to the deadline.
Great game and amazing work in 4hour and thanks for keeping debug in there
