Hi, I’m Alxira5, one of the developers of this game (you can verify this in the credits), and I’d like to address a few points.
Regarding the sheer amount of dialogue: I want to remind you that this is a visual novel. Naturally, it involves a lot of text because the game tells a story; without those supposedly unnecessary lines, the plot would end up confusing or, in a worst-case scenario, just plain bad. In the future, we’ll add a 67x fast-forward mode to make it more playable for you.
Also, no, this game isn’t “AI Slop”. The only elements using AI are the visuals, such as sprites, backgrounds, and images, because STheZer0 originally started the project alone for fun, and creating all the art solo is incredibly difficult. Plus, he edits the images to ensure they look good rather than low-quality. Believe it or not, we do have artists involved: JellyJagged, who animates the cutscenes, and myself; I created the icon and logo and will be producing more art for the game in the future.
As for the music, and this should be obvious given that the game is still in very early development, the current songs are just placeholders. They will be replaced later on. And in case you’re wondering, the final soundtrack won’t be AI-generated; it will be composed entirely by me. Besides being an artist, I’m also the composer (you can verify this in the credits as well).
And finally, if you think this game is bad, simply don’t play it. Since it’s free, you have nothing to lose; you can just move it to the trash and be done with it. Also, I’ll say it again: this game is in a very early stage, so it’s obviously imperfect and we’re trying to improve it. But dismissing it as “AI Slop” is simply an insult to our work. If you didn’t like it and think the game is bad, don’t play it, simple as that.
P.S: I forgot to mention this, but I just realized you spend your time insulting the developers of every game you play, I mean, come on, man, don’t be so bitter.
