I finally finished collecting all the imprints (could have been faster but I still need to pretend to work sometimes), the end of Act I was very enjoyable !
And I also loved the beginning of Act II, when in many incremental games you feel pretty at ease since you already know  all the mechanisms here you really feel the disorientation of the big change, it's really great ! And after being so advanced it really feels restrictive to be so weak, what do you mean I don't live a millenium and I can be defeated by some nobody ?

I am currently at the Sovereign Command of Grave Engine, it's a bit intimidating how much content there is, and I've only dabbled a bit with Soul Forging, it'll take some time to get familiar with all this, I've got a lot to catch up

And strangely now that I'm at Act II the speed is much higher, like I can reach the x5000 whereas in Wildernesses i was at x1100 at best

Thank you for all your work !

I actually just released a pretty large performance boost, which is likely why you're seeing those higher speeds again after so many patches.

Congrats on completing Act I! I'm really glad the transition into Act II landed for you. I wanted it to feel genuinely disorienting going from being so established and powerful to suddenly having to figure out what the rules even are again. That feeling of "wait, I can just die to this guy?" was very intentional.

Don't worry too much about the amount of new stuff all at once. Soul Forging and the other Act II systems are meant to give you room to experiment with them as you go rather than needing to understand everything immediately.

And you've got quite a bit ahead of you from where you are now. Thanks for sticking with the game this long, and especially for all the feedback you've given me along the way!

Yeah I guessed that it was thanks to the latest updates, thank you !
And the transition between the two Act is well done, although I'm slowly regaining my strength (claimed Grave Engine and Mirror-Weaver, now attacking Black Tide) it still feels like you lost a bunch of what you were before
I think I'll experiment with Soul Forging when I'll be finished with the claims, to have as much lifespan as possible

It really is a good game, I can't say i played any incremental like this before, the closest would be progression fantasy books (I'm a big fan of the genre), it really is addictive, that reminds me that it's 3 am where I am so I should go to sleep

And a little note I love the discrete queer representation, almost missed it : "A woman kisses her wife before taking the night warning stretch."
It makes me wonder how tolerant are people in your universe, although since it spans on milleniums and it seems that as long as you work several centuries you'll be accepted despite not having the option to shower I think it would be fine XD

Don't grind that water affinity for nothing, showers on demand!!

Agreed on the Act II transition. The disorientation of new game mechanics helped empathize with the character's disorientation. Nicely done!
