Hello mate, good morning. You can use the Idle animations to add some life to the Npcs. Maybe you can also program some basic behavior, like them patrolling an area, moving around in a preset way that makes sense to their profession, not all of them need to be static.
Regarding the dog, you can find it inside the "Monsters and animals" folder in this pack. It's the "Wolf" sprite, and comes in 3 colours.
