had fun with this one good job!

Nice entry I had fun with it.  Haven't played many of these types so I only made it wave 13.  Only thing I was confused on was the dash not working initially but then realized it was an unlock

fun game i feel that a little glow on things could make it better

Developer

yeah i tried to make the glow, but im kinda new to godot and i only made this game in around 2 days because i started late so i wasnt able to figure out the glow

btw i took inspiration from this game called NodeBuster on steam and these geometric shape kinda graphics intrigued me

Very fun and pretty addictive! Great job for a first time!

Developer

thanks man, i enjoyed making this (even tho there are a lot of incomplete stuff i had in mind) but still im happy that i was able to somewhat complete a game and have a submission in a game jam (took like 2 years of procastination)

Like vampire survivors but a little more unforgiving. Congrats on the first entry it's a really solid for a solo project!

Developer

thanks good sir, ill keep learning and try to balance out the game a bit more or make some mode(s) kind of stuff in the future for sure (wanna complete a game to somewhat of a good level for the first time)

Well done, love the use of vector graphics. sorry but honestly not sure it follows the theme.

upgrades can be awkward to implement so well done on doing so in your first entry

Developer (1 edit)

upgrades honestly gave me a headache and i scratched all my hair out to implement the bounce (there is still a bunch of balancing left and many physics bugs i couldnt fix in 2 days)

and about the theme i thought that these kinda games are like basically imminent doom and my game has a somewhat of a linear difficulty (even with some relief waves in between) so i thought that the doom/game over is basically garuanteed in this game

maybe i interpreted the theme a bit wrong tho

and also the vector graphics, i have to be honest, i took inspiration from this game called NodeBuster on steam (enjoyed that game and loved the graphics, so had to try it for myself)

i also tried to add glow (couldn't figure it out) T_T
