Not so sure how to save the world, i managed to destroy the ball but couldn't figure out what to do next.

Cool concept the visuals are good but the shaking effect is a little too much..
The ending art is very cool!

Short simple but good puzzle design!

Very cool management sim! each panel is cool.
Difficulty was honestly about right (although the cube mini game was a little harder compared to everything else)
The atmosphere and setting also fit a lot (especially that black out at certain points) great art/sound design overall!

Very good game!

This is a VERY VERY good idea i hope this gets expanded.

For now the tutorial is very confusing but once you understand it the game loop is very fun!
A better tutorial, infinite mode and you have a very cool game
(Also it was a bit challenging to read the calculations especially with some numbers like 6 or 9)

Good job!

Simple mechanics but the whole atmosphere art style and sound design makes it a very cool experience.

Swimming could be a little faster (personally i found the light upgrade not that great both gameplay and immersion wise , maybe increasing dash distance would be better although thats more of preference).

The ending while expected was still a good twist.
Overall great submission!

Thanks for the feedback and suggestion!

This is a VERY cool concept and the use of tetris is really cool!
The manager blocks were honestly more helpful than dangerous for me at least as the main reason i was getting fired was mistakes while placing blocks.

This is probably a skill issue but difficulty was little too much though (like the tutorial was very easy but after it started of hard from the start instead of getting harder as you cleared sections)

Overall great submission!

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah if i ever expand this i'll prob make it more obvious when the beat should click.

Very good game it seems simple but its actually kinda challenging and deep but fair!

Very fun and pretty addictive! Great job for a first time!

Thanks for the feedback!
The gaps in the platforms are intentional but i might have went a little overboard yeah
The camera being blocked was not but i was not sure how to fix it so i ended up leaving it for last and time got the better of me when i finally had an idea.

It appears i also did not fully remove the 2d gamemode i honestly have no idea how that happened originally it would swap between 2D and 3D but it was wayy too overscoped so it was scrapped

i'd suggest making a ticket in the discord. Edit: its fixed nice!

Short but funny and cool. The music stopped playing after a bit and did not loop also completing the tasks still has you wait which i mean yeah makes sense but its not fun in-game.

Also i ended up playing the desktop build as the web build after cleaning the table the cursor gets unlocked.

Overall relatable fun quick game!

Very good art i like the unique death animation for falling, running out of time and getting hit. Some coyote time would be a good improvement. Also sprinting was a bit buggy? like if i used it completly i couldnt use it again until it reached 100% but other times i was?

Good idea and funny story with peak art overall!

I can't really try this as im on linux and wine did not seem to like it. A web build would be appreciated but i can see time was not your friend!
Unless you forgot to publish the pck and only put the exe without embedding it.

EDIT actual review after playing:
Its a cool idea basic short but fun, i really like that double jump was not unlocked instantly gives a sense of progression. I like the minimalistic look actually it kinda fits the simplicity of the whole game, although there is room for improvement.

Also i'd suggest for platformer games to have cayote time as it improves the experience a lot.
Great job on finishing though!

It's a VERY VERY good concept and a extremely unique but right now it really is mostly just a concept. I'd love to see this expanded as right now its a little too difficult and a bit complicated.

Thanks for the feedback! If i ever expand this i really like jumping and maybe dashing to the rhythm, i didn't think of that interesting.

Very concept i'd love to see more expansion upon this!

A minor issue now though is the music its not looped which is sad as its a very cool track which fits the game perfectly. Also in the tutorial it shows the left mouse button to destroy equipment but its actually right

Very good concept that has potential. Personally i think difficulty was a little too much mostly because of the smoothed gun movement while yes that is cool gameplay wise its not fun (especially when reloading)

Also since there was a simple tutorial explaining what the goal was, having a textbox saying you can switch weapons would be appreciated! i only realized during the second playthrough and during my first i had to use only the sniper!

Other than that very good game and with some adjustments it can be very fun!

edit: forgot to mention there was a bug where the next wave never started resulting in a softlock. This only happened once however.

Very fun game loop and theme interpretation! One minor improvement i'd suggest is clearing the map of the zombies at the end of a run so that buying defenses is easier.

Very cool idea and gameplay, the visuals and setting are also very fitting. One minor issue is where you must hit the beats as while i did realize it, it was not as clear and it can trip you off a bit (though this is a design choice which adds difficulty so i can see why it is that way) .

Also maybe spacing out the notes visually a bit more? (This could also be lag) as some notes were played earlier than they were expected. Other than that very cool submission for your first gwj!

Thanks for the detailed feedback! You can disable screen flashing from the settings though i guess i should have probably mentioned that or maybe had it disabled as default!

The gun fires every 2~ seconds and checks your beat combo adjusting bullets to that, but yeah i can see expansion on this.

(also i wrote my own beat detector i suggest you look at the source code of rhythmnotifier to understand it if ya want as its not that complicated as it seems godot helps a lot as it simplifies the complicated parts.)

very good work i used 3 tracks on my game for a game jam https://globbertot.itch.io/last-dance

Hidden gem very interesting story and i'd love a more expanded one!
And the combat is very good, this has a lot of potential

Nice take on the theme, simple but cool

Very cool concept and the atmosphere with the pizza parlor music is peak.

I assume there was originally a more straightforward tutorial rather than giving instructions on the paper from the screenshots in game's page but was scrapped for time? Either way a tutorial would have been appreciated as it took a bit to realize how to change suspects what to do with mails e.t.c

(i'd suggest for post-jam if this gets expanded, maybe having a keybind map on like the left/right bottom of the screen that changes when clicking a mail or clicking a suspect it would help get the hang of it quickly)

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah i agree difficulty from hiring is something i'll adjust if i ever expand and i really like the stacking idea i didn't think of that!

It's cool idea, considering it was made in 4 days, i liked the music in the intro and kinda wished it was kept playing. Art is very good as well.

Only minor nitpick i'd have is the lack of a restart keybind.

There is a tutorial! You choose to either play the endless mode or the scripted tutorial at the main menu.

It's very good, it took me a bit to figure out how it works but i kinda like it that way, as it adds to the immersion with the already deep visuals and audio design.

Some quality of life features like up-down command history or autocomplete with tab though would be appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll consider your suggestion if i ever expand this although it would be extremly different.

I really like the concept and the atmosphere i'd be happy to play a more completed version as this one has a lot of minor issues and some game breaking

Mostly:
- leaving a read letter on the mat will cause a softlock as you will not be able to read any other letters

- for some reason i was able to get the true art stamp earlier? randomly when stamping a letter? I couldnt get it to happen again however

- not sure if intended but you can go from day 2 to day 7 if you make certain choices (ex: not stamping enough letters, mostly accepting/denying letters etc)

- the ui is very good for this game but the hitboxes are not, opening a letter and closing it requires multiple attempts so if i had to suggest something it would be maybe have a dedicated button to closing them on the top right?

- the tutorial could use some polish, a good chunk was spend trying to understand the game (especially on the first day)

- The purple stamp value looks more blue than purple and it took a bit to figure out

I dont know if this is your first jam but either way great job! excluding the issues mentioned this is one of my favorites in the jam a bit more polish and expanding (maybe longer days e.t.c) i think you have a very fun game here!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah i agree the UI was lacking and if i ever expand this i'll refine it for sure!

It's pretty cool! although very basic and short, could use some more mechanics like false alarms or enviromental hazards.
(and flash warning!)

(Also i'd suggest building a web build as you lose potential votes if it's skipped)

Its very good, though difficulity curve is kinda easy -> very hard

but puzzle games are not really my cup of tea so take that with a grain of salt. (if i had to suggest something though would be spacing out the mechanics, getting stuck in the orange introduction and afterwards immediatly having to deal with yellow guys was not easy)

Its simple but pretty good, has potential for more levels and more mechanics.

(Lack of web build usually leads to less votes, but considering windows is used for a level i guess its fine but consider that in the future (also slightly less important but only windows build is bad as i'm using linux and had to use wine)

Very fun has a lot of complexity and replayability, with the first days unlocking new mechanics is really cool as you feel the progression. (If this ever gets expanded however i'd suggest spreading out tutorials/new mechanics a bit as it can still get overwhelming to some).

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah im not that good with UI and i agree its bit lacking, if i ever expand this i'll consider your suggestions!

Thanks for the feedback! If i ever expand this i will consider the group idea yeah its not easy if a fight is too difficult to get your units to go.
