Hey people! Im a newbie game dev that got interested in making a demo in EFPSE recently after playing Call The Exterminator. But sadly there are no public versions that are compatible with Linux, and the editor doesn't even boots with WINE, so a Linux compatible version has being considered before and if it will be happening someday?

No.

I'm on Nobara, and it will run on Wine for me. I'm not sure if it will run on Bottles or Lutris yet, I haven't tested since it was working for me.

I'm on Zorin OS, sadly it doesn't boot with Wine, i have not tested with Bottles yet, i will take a look now.

Update: No it doesn't work with Bottles.

You can try forcing proton with steam, it works on somethings. worth a try

Considering that the editor has the default Windows Forms window icon, I don't think it will come to Unix officially anytime soon ;_;

Using fedora, I have been able to get it running with the default wine config in lutris. I used to be able to run it with GE Proton on steam back on arch, not sure what has changed tho as normally using wine or proton doesnt work for me on fedora
