Hi ! I love the atmosphere you built and the plot. The pixel art is minimalist and works so well.
The controls are simple and the gameplay is easy to understand, yet challenging -> it seems perfect to me.
I also was moved as a queer person who found it difficult to come-out to family. I did feel the imminent doom vibe T_T I wished there was more content in the game, I would definitely buy and play it even if it's short if the story is more complete !

I had a few other ideas (like introducing the world outside), and tie more into the theme via metaphor, but had to descope a bit to fit the jam deadline. It’s great to hear that you’re interested to play more! Thanks for playing and leaving a comment :)
I would have loved that. But I think for a jam it was a good choice to keep a small scope !
If you decide to add more contents to this game I'd be glad to play it again (and if you make it a paid game for a low price - because it's short - I'd be happy to buy it too ^^). Would you message me if you do so please ?
