I really like the vibe from this game. The art style and the choice of audio come together really well!
I don’t like the puzzles though. I generally like it when puzzle games explain the rules of the game, and then you get to explore those. In this game I was staring at a painting with a tomato bouncing around on it with no clue what to do. It would have helped if hovering over the tomato had a lot more visual feedback, now it’s so slow to start fading it’s difficult to notice at all. I had to resort to the solutions immediately.
Otherwise I think it’s great that you’re making something story based! I feel like I see way too few jam games that prioritize a good narrative. Great work overall!
Thanks a lot for the feedback. If I had more time, explaining the puzzles and giving the player less subtle and visual hints would be my first priority. Right now I agree that most of the clues are kind of obscure in the form of text and there is not enough time to register them or consider them as clues. Like the first scene where it says "Follow It until the garden forgets the light" meaning you should follow the tomato with your cursor.
Dude, is REALLY IMPRESSIVE. Honestly I'm so excited to see this type of game, 'cause it has cool atmosphere , I like it so much. While I played this game, I felt how many effort you invested in. Great job!
Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm so glad you enjoyed the atmosphere!
REALLY cool atmosphere, and the puzzles were pretty tricky. Nice job!
Really nice to hear that, thank you so much!
I liked the concept! I struggled with some of the puzzles and had to check the solutions. The music really pulled me into the game while I was playing. Poor apples... :( (probably they deserved it xD)
Apples always get all the credit >:(
Very interesting premise of a game! This kinda gives me those found footage horror game kinda style. Super creative implementation of the theme though I find the puzzles a bit too hard (could be me having a skill issue thing). I wish there were more hints and stuff to help a dummy like me xD. The audio really sold the vibe and the visuals are great! Overall, this game definitely in one of my top list of "most out of the box theme interpretation"! Great work!
Your feedback is seriously amazing, thank you so much! More hints are definitely needed in some places, it was a combination of me getting kind of carried away by trying to sell the mystery and not having enough time that led me to not add many obvious clues.
