How does your game meet GBJam's theme
The game is inspired by the OLD Game & Watch game, Octopus, where you have to dodge octopus tentacles while you loot sunken GOLD and have to bring it back to the surface.

The art is beautiful. The gameplay is basically that of the game & watch version, which was simple in the best possible way. Really good job! There does seem to be a glitch where the tip of the octopus's tentacle will remain at the point of its furthest extenson, which essentially makes the game impossible from that point forward. But great entry!

Thanks so much! I love the art as well, Duke did an amazing job.

We have too many moving pieces and the gbstudio emulates a small memory so it glitches, hahah. In the og there are only 6 or 9 tentacle parts i think.

We have fixed it but we’ll upload it once the jam is up

I played on the gameboy. It took me a bit to understand rhat I had to go back and forth but then I got the hang of it! Nicely done! It's hard but playable!

Thank you so much for playing!

We initially made a version where the tentacles follow you around, which made for a much creepier feeling game to me xD

It's hard :) Due to a glitch tentacles are left and have collisions, I could not get even one :( Good idea and art is awesome

Thank you for playing!

We have fixed the issues but will wait until the rating period is over to upload.

The art indeed is awesome! The music was too but with gbstudio limitations, we couldn’t get the music in!
