My computer engineering degree and electronics repair hobby really got in the way on the soldering section lol. I was trying to figure out why the soldering iron sparked like a welding iron and what I was supposed to do with the ICs on the board, and trying to see if I could decipher the circuit board traces, instead of tracing the path clearly laid out in there.

A well-crafted experience, in whole. The controls were fitting for the experience, the minimal music and sound really worked well here. The old gold being to repair electronics is not quite the direction I expected, and the use of a GameBoy in that situation felt delightfully on-the-nose for the jam.
I did notice the parallax creating mixels (following the post-upscale size as pixels rather than pre-upscale), but that's relatively minor all things considered. I had to go out of my way to even notice.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. I was the programmer of the team and also part-time electronic repair guy and yes, the soldering session was built not to be realistic in any way. The parallax creating mixels was a issue we noticed during development, but to avoid that, the parallax had to move in discrete steps to match the low resolution, which means it would be snapping to the grid constantly. We did implement, but the results were very nauseating and we opted to leave it as it is. Again, thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed!

Thank you!!!! I'm happy you enjoyed it! The soldering almost didn't make it in time 😭
