the controls are very simple, and the objective is very clear
the difficulty curve is also very well balanced. I still had to think about my positioning and how to approach the bosses, even though I had some crazy buffs from the store

How does your game meet GBJam's theme
churro is a real cat. one of our team found him in China, brought him home, and has treasured him ever since, so he's literally their old gold. the coins in the game stick around too, so gold from wave 2 is still lying there when you eventually get a vacuum, and anything you hoard ultimately becomes part of your score.
