How does your game meet GBJam's theme
We bet everything on how similar the two words (old, gold) are, making a game in the Wario Ware style where you play some classic ("old gold") minigames to, somehow, turn one word into another with just one letter change, of course including old to gold.

The old tricks never get old and that led us to the magician theme around the game with some stereotypical yet absurd situations.

The art here is so good. The game where maybe a bit too cryptic, but I had a great time.

I love the WarioWare style and your visual design is super tight. I have absolutely no idea how to beat the stork or the rat level though :(

The art direction here is awesome, especially the literal "PEW" in the space microgame. "Warioware but longer" formula works! Love it!

Most of the games were a bit cryptic but I also suck at real warioware.

Not bad, I enjoyed, loved the animations and the way you did it fully!

This was great fun! I had no idea what I was doing throughout most of it but they're essentially tiny puzzle games so I guess that's kinda the point :') Still don't know what I did to get past that bird... the hint made me think I had to play the Wonderwall melody but just an octave or two seemed to do the trick haha! The game looks beautiful and feels very Gameboy - I had a lovely time, thank you!

Thank you! Yeah, unlike WW this one is more "okay what do I have to do". The bird one I'm aware could be more interesting, you just had to do a certain amount of different notes haha.

I didn't really understand what to do in most of the minigames but I really like the graphics!

Were the hints too subtle? It's more about discovering what to do than in WarioWare, although I get a pair of them weren't very intricate.

Had a few laughs with this one haha. The art and animations are awesome, fun warioware twist

Thank you so much!

I like the humour, some pretty clever ideas. Good twist on a warioware game where the stages are a bit more like puzzles rather then being obvious how to clear. I couldn't work out the bird one though!

I really like the fresh take on the theme, and wow, the art is so great! The minigames provide a really impressive variety for the playtime as well.

Maybe I'm just a bit dense, but the Bird / Bard minigame was difficult for me to understand, even having beaten it! I'm glad there was a built-in hint system. Aside from that tiny hiccup (again, probably just a me thing), this was a very enjoyable experience :)

It's absolutely not a you thing! We weren't very sure how to make that one work and was the last done in a rush. We thought "just play enough notes to make it feel deliverate and show that you know how to swing by holding up and down", so the goal is simply to play 18 notes or so. The hint was something I thought would read as "just trust what you're doing" but I've find some people overthinking it too much haha.

Thank you so much!
