How does your game meet GBJam's theme
We interpreted OLD GOLD literally. Old electronics鈥擟RT televisions, circuit boards, cassette players, telephones, and game hardware鈥攃ontain small amounts of real gold in their components. In our game, these discarded machines become an urban mine. The player digs through old technology, recovers the gold hidden inside, and uses it to produce new game cartridges. So for us, old technology is old gold: something obsolete and forgotten still contains real value waiting to be recovered.
