This game is amazing! Unlike typical tower defense games that require you to constantly spam turrets(or knights) to deal with enemies, the inclusion of knights who actually age definitely adds a whole new layer of strategy. At first, I didn't realize the knights' age would increase, so I wasted a perk to add two extra knights—only for them to eventually die of old age, which broke my heart. This is absolutely a game worth investing your time in. The mechanic of dragging enemies is also really fun. I wonder if the late game introduces any mechanics to make things a bit easier for the player, so we don't have to scramble so frantically, haha!

Thank you for your kind comment! Yes, the knight perk adds new knights but you also kinda need to balance the tomato cooldown as well to keep the knight alive just so there's a balance of having lots of knights, and having youth tomatoes to feed! I really wished I implemented some sort of late game mechanic for more experienced players but unfortunately I didn't have time. Definitely something I will think about in the future though!
Absolutely addicting. I nearly topped the leaderboard on my first run and couldn't stop! Very well polished. I wish the difficulty curve rose a bit more quickly and leveled off a bit more, but it still feels great to play!
Thank you!! I'm so glad to hear that you found it addicting xD. I do agree with you with the difficulty. Though balancing it with first time players can be a bit tricky, hence why the sort of like initial sections are a bit easier to play but definitely something that I will keep in mind in future updates!
What an amazing game! I really liked the idea of being able to hold enemies in place =) and having to manage the tomatoes.
The best build is reducing tomato cooldown, followed by reducing age evolution time, attack speed, and the number of knights. GG.
Had a lot of fun playing this, the game loop is really solid and addicting, it feels well balanced too. Great work for the 2 days of game jam!
Absolute cinema. Given some extra mechanics and progression, I can see this as a fully fledged game. I tip my hat to you :)
I really liked the visuals and the gameplay! My tomato died way too soon on my first run :(
Good idea, and looks enough polished. The art style is great, sfx the best and core mechanics also good. It so impressive about this game, good job!
super polished game and visuals and a really nice spin on the genre with the dragging the enemies around, i liked that management aspect between spawning tomatoes and dragging.
Seriously solid and polished game!
The sound effects and animations feel really nicely done and polished to where you can't guess its done in 2 days. The intro cutscene is fun and well implemented, the tutorial is very helpful and quick, and the gameplay is genuinely fun. The only thing I think could be added is maybe speeding up the pace - more enemies faster and stronger upgrades?
Absolutely brilliant game, you're going to win this lol, gg
Thank you! That's such a high praise! Really appreciate you giving my game a go!
I do agree with speeding up the pace. The game starts off very slow but then it gets more chaotic as time goes on. Balancing this was a nightmare for me since the power ups are RNG and people also have different playstyles that I didn't get to playtest much due to time constraints!
If you'd like to revisit the game, feel free to put your name up on the game over screen to see how you compare with other people on the online leaderboard! :D
Again, thank you for your kind comment!
