The graphics were amazing, the music also had that retro GameBoy feeling, The gameplay was short, but it has the potential to get expanded. Great job with the game

I also made sokoban game. I wish there were more levels. Great potential

simple little sokoban game.  I think this could be interesting if expanded, though the movement feels real slow in this. I didn't really have any other problems though. neat game!

Thanks!

A little disappointing it's so short :(

I definitely wish there was more. The visuals were fantastic, and I feel like the vibes were exactly what you were trying for.

This would of been really awesome if finished. Glad you got as much as you did down.

Was a good time.

Thanks! Yeah we just ran out of time. Molly's first time using Godot too, she usually codes software, not games. Big learning experience for all!

i love puzzle games  and i love the little bit of lore!

agree with the previous comment that there are some jam rules broken: subpixels and mouse input not turned off at the start (though i think it just goes in with any input, mouse or keyboard). imo, outside of the jam setting these aren't a big deal and they do not take away from the game too much.

a personal point, i use WASD since i have a 60% keyboard so the Q/E mapping is a little awkward. it's not a big deal since i don't need to swap/use tools too often in the current level but i can imagine it being annoying if i need to use tools often since i can't use both hands (i imagine Q/E with arrow keys is much less awkward).

that said, you've all done a great job! the art is fantastic so i hope to see more of it with more levels as well :)

Thanks for the feedback, we'll look into more control options for the next version!

I really enjoyed what you had put down here, once you expand on it and implement some fixes feel free to ping me because I’m a love of sokoban like games!

Graphics wise the game breaks some rules, but other than the inconsitenst scaling of element, the core sprites look good and I could totally see them on a Gameboy.

Music and sfx were neat, nothing crazy nothing offensive, good job with those.

Only thing that comes to my mind other than the obvious needs more levels is that the player speed could be a higher, just so it doesn’t feel like a crawl (or you could implement a light/shadow system, but that is tricky with puzzle games).

overall well done!

Developer

Thanks! Yes, player movement is top of our list to fix in the next version.
