Nice idea to use your corpses as platforms. The small delay when you die and can move started to feel not so good after a while. Sometimes I also could not jump even though I thought I should, maybe it needs coyote time or something? Also I kind of would have loved some kind of checkpoints when you "cleared" a part already, but maybe thats just my impatient self.
